Help a Hallam Child It's a Knockout Charity Challenge
On the 8th September Demon Wheelers and Help A Hallam child worked together to put on an It’s A Knockout to raise as much money as they could for the Help A Hallam child charity. The event was a great success with plenty of companies entering teams to compete against each other while there was also a celebrity Hallam FM team who took part who included a mixture of DJs and news crew such as Phone Boy and Matt Mackay.
The event started at 6:30pm on the Friday evening and the It’s A Knockout finished at around 9:00pm with all participants suitably soaked. Afterwards there was the drawing of the raffle where there were some fantastic prizes up for grabs including a new mountain bike and 1 nights stay in the newly refurbished Aston Hall Hotel.
While the It’s A Knockout was happening Demon Wheelers also provided a Bouncy Castle for the children and some side stalls which included a Coconut Shy, Laser Clays, Giant Jenga and Giant Connect Four.
The Knockout was a great success with over £2000 being made for the charity on the day and an enjoyable time was had by all the participants. In the end the winners were Morrisons Supermarkets with Lambert Smith Hampton taking 2nd and 3rd places.
