Charlotte Booler

Events Coordinator

When did you join Demon Wheelers?

I joined in June 2018.

How did you come to work at Demon Wheelers?

I was in my final year at Myerscough, where is studied BSc (Hons) Motorsport Management and Logistics when I applied for the job at Demon Wheelers. I knew that I wanted to go into the events industry but wasn't sure in which area of events. I felt that Demon Wheelers had it all, from the motor vehicle aspect to areas that I had never been involved in before such as team building and props.

What is your favourite event?

As I have only been with the company a few months I haven't had the chance to go out on many events. However, the ones that I have been on I have loved and would have to say it is hard to choose. If I had to pick one event it would be the Tablet Treasure Hunt. It is an old school event but with a modern twist and I feel that the two mix well.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

As Motorsport is a big part of my life, I spend most of my weekends attending local Motorsport events. Even through the cold months, there is nothing better than getting up early in morning and spending the day watching rally cars fly through the forests. If i am not at a Motorsport event, I spend my spare time with family.

What is your favourite film?

All the Godfather films, watching them one after the other is the best way to spend a day off.

What is your favourite drink?

A nice cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows on top.

What is your favourite food?

I love anything made from chocolate so my favourite food would have to be Hot Chocolate Fudge Cake with Ice Cream.

First album you ever bought?

McFLY - Room on the 3rd floor

If you could meet one famous person dead or alive, who would it be?

I would like to meet Michèle Mouton. She was the first female Rally driver. She lead the way for more females to join the sport and showed that not only men can drive. She is a true inspiration.

Favourite place you have visited?

I would have to say that my favourite place to visit is Germany, in particular Berlin. It is like a town that never sleeps which means that there is always something to do. I love that it has the historical parts with lots of history mixed with its modern parts. This place is so beautiful and the locals are so friendly and happy. I'd highly recommend visiting the natural hot springs or going white water rafting here.

What is your best memory of working for Demon Wheelers/Wildfire?

I would have to say the Tablet Treasure Hunt at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. I like the style of a Tablet Treasure Hunt and getting to see all the animals was a perk of the job. It also ran smoothly and it was good to see just how much the client enjoyed a modern style treasure hunt.
